June 2020 Messenger

TO THE CONGREGATION
Corona Virus (COVID-19).  Are you as tired of this as most are?  It is necessary to comply with those who advise us about this situation - so Bethany Church Council voted to suspend all meetings and other events for as long as necessary.
They will meet on Monday, June 8, 2020 at 7:15 pm.  The Office is open 9:00 am to 4:30 pm Monday thru Thursday.  If you have a need, we have people available who can help you. Call 570 368-8933.  God Bless and protect us all, Pastor David.

CHURCH SERVICE HAS RESUMED AT BETHANY!  ALLELUIA!
At last Worship Service has returned in our Church.  Different than we have done in the past in several ways.
We will have one service on Sunday morning at 9:00 am. No Sunday School.
We will enter and exit from the East Door (by the elevator).
The Offering Plate will be on that stand at the East Door for your envelopes.
Ushers are not collecting the offering during the service.
Bulletins are also on the table, please pick up one for yourself.
There will be no Greeters after service.
Communion is different in that we will be doing continuous communion (staying six foot from person in front of you), Pastor is using wafers, and both Grape Juice and Wine are being offered.  Pastor will explain before service starts.

Despite the differences it is good to be back in Worship in the Sanctuary with the faithful.
